Birthday Candle Toronto

Nokia sold

this morning to my great joy has taken over the PC Suite to offer their updates automatically.
It 's true, was always selected by default a self-styled "upgrade" the bad OVI Suite, but finally in, hidden because the window was too small and almost entirely occupied by the stain to the magnificence of OVI Suite, the PC Suite has reappeared. Almost as if he were ashamed, but there was.

Thank goodness: the Nokia forum posts that sliced \u200b\u200bwildly OVI Suite does not count more: it is huge, slow, unstable, disrespectful of the most elementary rules of user interface design, insists on imposing its own model of the world (on a PC where patently has exactly the same things that your mobile: every single song, every video, every photo, etc.. etc...) He added that regularly loses and / or duplicates of contacts, or truncate the information (documented cases). Major lossage.

E 'so indefensible that Nokia, in the (few) responses to these messages - however, most peaceful and well-documented - he writes only "Yes, but it is beautiful and has a beautiful graphical interface much more intuitive! You can save contacts on OVI! You can download the maps! "

Beyond the fact that this statement is highly questionable (a painting or photograph can be beautiful, but the graphical user interface does not tell me much; contacts on OVI not even think to put them, maps have limited utility for now), we understand the 'embarrassment at having to support a piece of crapware blatantly thrown out in a hurry because the consumer market have to compete with Apple. Too bad that Apple would be able to make good computer software, while Nokia is clearly not their strong point.

The PC Suite, now a reasonably decent software targeted at the needs of those who normally get these tools for connecting computer and mobile phone (or generally of the "road warriors" like me) took years to become stable enough to be used regularly, and even so it is very slow.

What to say? Just as well that sometimes even the marketing glitz is forced to deal with reality.
